We took a weekend trip to Pigeon Forge. It was very nice to get away and Nolan had a great time. We stayed at a hotel with a nice pool that had a slide and a lazy river, so we spent a lot of time just swimming, but we also got out and did a lot of fun things. Nolan had talked about seeing the mountains for a good week before our trip and was excited when we got there.
Arriving at the hotel.

Playing at a park in Gatlinburg where mommy and daddy had once spent an afternoon at on their honeymoon. He wasn't fond of this rock, not sure why.

We went to the Aquarium in Gatlinburg. It was very nice and Nolan loved running around and looking at all of the fish. He was most impressed with the moving sidewalk that took us underneath where the sharks were.

Posing with the scarecrow.

Tom wanted him to put this shark hat on in the gift shop and he refused and ran out of the store, well about 5 minutes later, he ran back in saying he wanted to wear the hat and put it on by himself. He does things in his own time.

Riding rides at the Track.

We walked around the Dinosaur museum, he is fascinated by the fact that dinosaurs have 'funky toes'.

Playing indoor putt-putt. He is very patient, he kept hitting his ball over and over and wouldn't quit until we told him to just give up.
