Halloween

For the second Halloween in a row, Nolan had croup. He was so sick that night, but I was determined to take him out anyway, since it would be his first time out. You can see how now thrilled he was. If you know Nolan you know he is sick when he #1) lets you hold him for longer than 5 seconds as he is above and #2) doesn't smile, as you can see in all of the pictures below.

He pepped up a little bit when it was time to head out. He did a really good job and wasn't afraid of going right up to people. At the first couple of houses after they put candy in his bucket, he sat down on their porch, it was hilarious. At one house we went to, when they opened the door, he saw a doggy and started to go inside the house.

After about 6 houses, we decided that he had enough and we headed back home, when this nice realtor stopped us and asked if we wanted a picture together, too bad it is right in front of his car. Maybe next year we will be croup free and will be able to enjoy Halloween a little more.
